NEVERMADE ART
What is NEVERMADE ART?
This is a trend in art that has replaced contemporary art and conceptualism. At the heart of the movement is the understanding that every person is an artist. And the artist's mission is not to create works of art, but to find them in everyday life.

Art has come a long way from rock art to performance and digital art. Hundreds of generations of artists came up with new and changed old concepts. For us, their followers, there are no fresh ideas left. In the modern world - everything new is well forgotten old. Neo-expressionism, new sincerity, postmodernism, appropriation - all this has already been and in our days just rises from dusty shelves and is chewed repeatedly. We must stop this terrible process of coprophagia.

As new artists, we must learn from the experience and legacy of our predecessors. But at the same time, they should not produce visual, auditory, and other digital garbage. Our task is to perceive the world as art. The idea is not new - already in antiquity, the first ideas of Nevermade appeared. But we've lost our way. It is difficult for art to be pure and fulfill its main role in the capitalist world. Here everything has its price, and the artist, as a businessman, tries to be successful and sell himself as high as he can. But this replaces the main task of art with capitalist goals.

The world is mired in overproduction and unconscious consumption. Low-quality goods from China flooded the market - everything became disposable and one-day. Even a new iPhone - “new” for no more than 12 months - no one needs it next year. The same is true in the art world. Hundreds of thousands, millions of concepts and performances, taped bananas, and other crazy idiocy. All this pollutes our minds as much as plastic pollutes our oceans. Why create new art when we have old art that we don't use? We try to be sustainable to save the planet for future generations - so why don't we apply the same principle to art? All that is needed has already been created - it would be nice to stop this factory of fakes and copies and study what is already there. The modern viewer does not know anything about the history of art. Many modern artists have not heard about many things too, but with maniacal determination, they are ready to create more and more new “works”.

The new task of the artist is not to create, but to perceive what has already been created. And created not only by his colleagues and predecessors but created by God, nature, and ordinary people. More than 100 years have passed since people realized that any item that got into the gallery becomes art - it's time to move on. Today, any object is art, and museums are no longer needed. Art is everywhere and always. The more experienced and talented the artist, the more works of art he sees. It is not difficult to find brilliant artwork in the Louvre or the Guggenheim museums - it is much more difficult to find it in ordinary life. Every look at the world around and every rustle of it is filled with magic. Each piece of reality is much richer than the paintings of Van Gogh and Monet, your neighbor is more interesting than the portraits of Rembrandt. Any walk around the city is an invitation to hundreds of happenings and performances. The main thing is not to miss it. It is important to have an eye that will see it, an ear that will hear it, and a heart that will feel it.

But what about the viewer? What about him? The viewer already has become an artist. The requirements for the creator now are so low that anyone can be an artist. It does not require any knowledge, experience, or talent. And if there is a commercial vein, most likely you will become in demand and rich. But this is the way to the void. The only way is to make a reverse metamorphosis - the artist should become a spectator.

It's time to understand - art is not in museums and galleries - it is around us. The mission of a modern artist is to perceive the world as art and develop a visionary skill in himself.
